Women

The seminar and the day started out with thunder clouds in the horizon and the wind was picking up. The Guild and Guerra Communication with its owner Belinda Guerra, had planned the seminar for the women of Laredo Free of Charge.

About 10 am I spoke with Mrs. Guerra and told her that everything was running fine and we had about 50 calls for the seminar.

She was thrilled about the response and said she was going out of town but the manager Mr. Horacio was going to open the Casa Blanca Ballroom for us at 4pm. That I should contact him around lunch time.

I did as I was told to get everything in gear for the afternoon. As soon as I spoke to Mr.. Horacio he mentions to me that we need to pay the $2000.00 to $3000.00 to a Mr. Jr Sarli. If we did not pay the doors would be closed.

Here we have a good deed going wrong by the petty politics of Laredo.

I spoke with Mrs Guerra's Sister Elian who changed the radio announcements that we would have the seminar at the Academy at the same time.

With all this shenanigans The seminar turned out well.

The women were enthused and happy to train. We had zipoteros helping at the seminar, with plenty of questions which I hope were answered.

We had women of all ages training to learn. the main concern is that we are going to have this again.

Fighting back to defend ourselves is our God Given right and we will not allow anyone to subdue or coward our society, whether it be from petty politics or from a lunatic acting our his fantasies.
