Buitron MD, Michel Gilbert, Andre Germe, Roger Lafond, Pierre Change and Dominique Dacklue revived the old traditions of Savate, which were being decimated by the sport of Boxe Francaise- French Federation of Savate. As stated by Professeur Buitron , "no one system contains all the answers or magic that will create a ultimate fighting machine." Here in the US , savateurs call me Professeur or Prof, this is their way of showing respect and acknowledgment of what I have achieved. In My opinion, I am just a guide, a professeur that learns from his students, I am merely just a practitioner of a philosophy that is going extinct. "

On the photo to the left is his sister Dubelza which is training at an early age of 9 years old. This photo shows when  Dubelza Buitron  started her savate training and continues to this day. Duby Buitron is now 23 years old.

Proud that the family is still involved in Savate the newest members are his 7year old daughter Nara Buitron and 10 year old nephew Eloy Buitron to join the Guild and start the road of becoming zipoteros in there own right.

"Today in the United States, there are more "experts" in Savate than you can count, some valid while others as fake as a three dollar bill", Buitron states, "every savateur is special, the good ones, the bad ones and especially the fakes since they are the ones that make you laugh, I have heard and read falsities of the history of the art and how it was produced as well as the rankings , achievements and colossal mistruths of the art in general, only to see those proclaimers be stopped in there tracks by students of mine with only four months experience in the art, GEE I guess I have no knowledge of the art."

Buitron can not keep up with the ever-growing requests for seminars, he encourages those who wish to learn to come to the headquarters to train. He has also traveled to other groups who practice savate without a Professeur to guide them within the art, Professeur Buitron just provides them with support and encouragement for training. Buitron states "It is not the style, it's the man behind it, a man with good basics is a hard man to beat".

Today you will find Prof. Buitron out in the range where he spends his time guiding hunters to there mark at there families Ranch: Las Auras Ranch www.texas-hunts.com in Crystal City Texas. Hunting is his passion after zipota. Buitron opinionates, "here is where you actually find yourself closer to the creator, your senses must be on, life and death as well as the acceptance of truth is very much present. Because if you are good enough to guide a hunter yards away from an animal that can hear you breath 100 yards away you are finally doing something right, Depending on the type of game you are hunting varies dangerous conditions arise which actually puts a meaning to the word On point all the time".
