2009 D/FW Danse De Rue Seminar

It was good to see the number we had at the Danse De Rue
Savate seminar this past weekend in Richland Hills. It would always be nice to
have a couple of more in attendance, but it's important to be thankful for the
several individuals that were present. I believe that we had a great seminar
because of the effort put forth by all those present. Material we covered was
not always easy, but then again, if it was then everyone would do it. Even the
material that was covered that I would call "very difficult" was still broken
down by Professeur Buitron in a manner that allowed me to comprehend much more
than I thought I could. I would like to thank everyone in attendance and look
forward to seeing you all again soon.
Coach Mecanico

The weekend of March 14 & 15 witnessed the triumphant return of Savate Danse de
Rue to the Dallas Metro area with an initiation seminar for the Dallas area
clubs. Three instructors including Coach Mecanico, Coach Trensas, and Initiateur
Nilgai will be working to establish their clubs and class offerings in the
coming months. Material from Red, White, and Yellow Glove levels was covered. We
would like to extend a special thanks to our gracious host Sifu William Piper
Jr. of Texas Storm Kenpo Karate for providing us a training space with mats.
After (8) hours of slam-bang training, Monday morning was an easier prospect.
Anyone in the Dallas/Fort Worth/Irving, Texas area wishing to make training
arrangements can do so through Guild Headquarters. YEE- HAW!! Savate Danse de
Rue Returns To DALLAS
