The Rock-n-Roll Seminar went great. Maha Guru Muda Bob Vannetta , Guru Ron Miller and Guru Allen Nicholes were great and everyone got along as it should be. Everyone was happy that they all took there time in Teaching the different Eastern style of Silat and Kali along with there American Cousin Bledek Silat.

Guru Ron Miller showed everone the different approaches of the most common kali sytles that there is, like Cerrado, Pekita Trisia, Doce pares along with some tai boxing and Serak. His knowledge of the martial skills is to be respected. spending a lot of time with very great instructors Guru Ron knows the inns and outs of true martial skills.

His teachings even had my little ones attention Nara took to kali and would not leave Guru Ron alone.

During the seminar everyone trained hard since they knew that skill was on the Floor. We were surprise how all the female zipoteras adhered to the subject. Elbow in faces, faces on the ground, knuckles bruise when sticks flew and still the were training to best made all the rest of the guy wonder on how the treat there husbands...hehehehe.

They showed character and most of all what counts in a fight GUTS!

This Gathering brought everyone closer to the family of the Guild and true brothers and sisters emerged. Training needs to be appreciated especially when hard strikes and the reality measure goes up a couple of notches .

Guru Allen Nicholes showed everyone the basics of Bledek Silat and had the girls asked questions like there was no tomorrow. Here he is answering a question and feeling the response.

Next was Guru Bob with him teaching everyone the system that he created Bledek Silat. Guru Bob started out quickly with new insights on how to adjust onto the knife. his quick angulations and sudden change of force along with the tenacity makes this American born Silat truly built for Rock-n-Rolling. Guru Bob showing the quick changes of angle to arrive to a great striking position.

The teachings that Guru Bob showed was what works spontaneous, effect and with malice behind it. Here he is with another approach to a knife confrontation.

When speed of an attack is upon us you need to react and react solidly need to be done. I am quoting the great Jack Dempsey" the secret about fighting is who gets there firstes with the mostes".

Everybody at the Salle and the guild thank Gurus Bob , Ron and Allen for there time that they gave us with there experiences in the world of Pugilism.
