Today in the United States, there are more "experts" in Savate than you can count, some valid while others as fake as a three dollar bill. Buitron states, "every savateur is special, the good ones, the bad ones and especially the fakes since they are the ones that make you laugh, I have heard and read falsities of the history of the art. How it was produced as well as the rankings , achievements and colossal mistruths of the art in general. Only to see those proclaimers have been stopped in there tracks by students of mine with only four months experience in the art. GEE, I guess I have no knowledge of the art, but if you ask me who taught me I will respond with the name of who taught me and influenced in the creation DDRS." Buitron can not keep up with the ever-growing requests for seminars, he encourages those who wish to learn to come to the headquarters to train. He has also traveled to other groups who practice savate without a Professeur to guide them within the art, Professeur Buitron just provides them with support and encouragement for training. Buitron states "It is not the style, it's the man behind it, a man with good basics is a hard man to beat". |
