This
year was a great step forward for Savate Danse De Rue in the United States.
Savate is being taught as part of the curriculum of Kinesiology Department of the Laredo Community College.
Having three Classes of Danse De Rue Savate. Hopefully giving rise to the popularity of our art being taught in colleges throughout the US.
On
November 14th 2007, two classes gave a demonstration of Danse De Rue Savate at
the learning center. The Demonstration went superb the student
body
received it with open arms.
Dr. Carrasco the head of the department of Kinesiology spoke about the reasons one should take the art. Its aerobic and anaerobic qualities of Savate.
Many came to find out on how to register for the class the following semester.
The
young zipoteros of Laredo Community College showed great technique for the two
months that they have been training .
"I
have seen great response in character as well as ability of the students here at
the College" Prof Buitron Stated to
the Crowd.
