13th Annual Menudo Bowl
For the past 13 years Crime stoppers has held a Menudo
cooking contest . The Contest pits teams against each other to see who produces
a better tasting menudo.
It has grown from ten to 57 teams , along with a rodeo, Motorcycle event and above all great time for the folks.
This
year we decided to join and show our support for the job that Crime stoppers of
Laredo, has been doing.
We had several Teams of ours in the Menudo Bowl.
We had zipoteros Rudy, Leo and Chinche design the hut. Team #1: Joining in the creation of a hut type of booth.
Team #2 was Laura Espinoza , Coach Mongoose (Sylvia) and I(Prof) cooking Menudo
We had the President of USA SAVATE (Richard Geissler) Cooking Fajitas all Afternoon. we had Plenty of others show up Like Constable Rudy Rodriguez a Board members of USA SAVATE

Managing the booth and severing the 35lbs of menudo Was Victor Espinoza , Laura Espinoza, my wife-Lilian Buitron.
We had the Kid Zipoteros ( Chispas, Lucero, and Cascavel) giving out flyers along with Chinche. After a while the frustrations of running around got to the kids, Lil' Olivia frustration check this out HEHEHEH
This started out at 6am and ended at 9pm, everyone involved Thank you
