Master Jeff Dukes expressed his abilities to the group and especially showed the energy that kenpo brings out in the youth.
In the event the Families came to see their children training and learning a bit of an art that is base on self-defense... This was a thrill to see mothers and daughters training together as well as Police Explores. We also had Judge Juan Caballero talk about the necessity of self-defense and protection.
The gathering of true Brothers within the art was an experience that will never be forgotten. The joking and playing around by those who need no imitational flexing of muscles nor showing off of skill was a moment in time that needs to be recorded.
Sifu Greg Ringness and his brother Grand Master Frank Trejo both trained, taught and fought out of the Pasadena School in the early 1970s. They had not seen each other in over twenty five years. This was pinnacle of the event.
